This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
So this is a really late post, i mean late. I went to my first comic con and IT WAS RIDONKULOUS!!! It was Aug 27-29, at the Toronto Metropolitan Convention Center and when i went it is the third largest Comic-con in North America. I honestly had no real clue of what to expect when i brought my portfolio with me, not sure what i would get out of it. I could have gotten a good review or bad one i wanted to know what i needed to start my comic book and what any one who would speek to would think of what i could do. First off i met Howard Wong, the writer of "After the Cape", put out by Image Comics. He like my work my style, was amazed that i had some colour sense (Some and i mean some, it is something i have not perfected). And his first initial advice was this, " you have to decide what you are going for, are you a cover artist? And do you want to do them? Are you a comic book illustrator? Is that what you want to do? You gotta show panels and how they flow. Can you tell a story though them?" It was alot to take in, and i realized that the only thing i have wanted to do was Draw comic book since i was a child but never considered what in specific did i want to do in that industry. We spoke further where i revealed that i have a comic book idea that i was currently conceptualizing and putting together. We spoke about how or what i was going to do with it. The publishing options, if i were to do it myself, or go through someone. We discussed several option and i learned about certain companies. Marvel and DC for instance, are very MECHANIC. An example that bothered me was that if YOU creat a comic and they pic it up. They own your comic. That means if your main character is a cuban smoking, filthy mouth, slap you in the face then ask you how was your day for kicks, has an enormous apetite for mass violence all while puttin it to his girl while she is bent over face in the trunk of a chevelle 440 SS type of guy, they may decide he should be a blue hair ,lipstick, pokadot tutu wearing tranny who likes kittens and rides a segway to protect the galaxy. (Yes i know that was severly random but i wanted the point to sink in) And the thing is they can do it because technically they now own your product. Now i not knocking either company really because i would love to draw for some of there comics on either side however it is something of note that i should mention that.

Design is what a man does, not what he thinks, feels, or believes. A masterpiece is what a man live, thinks, feels, believes and is.
